  Seeing that there is a mind-body connection, you should try your best to be a good friend to your body. There's a saying that goes "the body is a good friend but a treacherous enemy." Take note of those words because they are accurate.  To t ake care of your body is not meant in only the physical sense. Your mental relationship with your body is extremely important. You see the body and the mind takes care of each other, however, the mind has the power to heal the body and renew your soul. The world has always been a mess and it will continue to be a mess long after we're gone. Don't get me wrong, the world is beautiful, amazing, and miraculous. However, these realities only blossom when we can perceive this wonderful planet of ours through the eyes of spiritual maturity and understanding. If not, the world will scare and depress you and will make no sense at all. From its conception, the  "material" world has been filled with turmoil. Others describe the term as a catastrophic event giving rise to immense destruction and change. So many people are extremely concerned about the comings-and-goings taking place around the world today, so I wrote a post titled Don't Worry...The World Has Always Been A Mess Part 1 .   Well, I decided to write a part-two to that post. This second part is written to reaffirm that "the world is still a mess, has always been a mess, and will continue to be a mess in the future." The statement that life is a game may seem nonsensical at first. However, when you realize that life is just a game you will begin to understand how to play it .  The happenings taking place today have always occurred in one form or another throughout history. Same movie different actors.  Therefore, once you know the rules of the game you will cease to be apprehensive about life. You'll start to comprehend that things will eventually sort themselves out...if you play life by the rules of the game.  As the saying goes: There is great power within you. A power so great that it is capable of defeating any negative conditions placed before you. When I refer to  truth it's not  man's truths that I'm alluding to. In fact, man's carnal ideas of truth are not  truth at all.  This is because what man refers to as truth are basically facts or imaginary beliefs. Facts can change with the wind and they often do.  Truth on the other hand is immutable and in harmony with spiritual laws.  As you become more enlightened, these  truths will become more evident.   The t ruth  of any given situation is eternally present whether it is acknowledged or not. Facts are derived from material stimuli that can change depending on a person's perspective. For example, according to universal law  we are not the body, we are a Soul with a body . At times the universe forces the masses into high-gear, compelling them to move forward. Those who refuse to adapt are left behind.  This advancement requires an improvement in intelligence and profound inner reflection. Unfortunately, most are not up for the task. As it is written in Matthew 22:14 "many are called but few are chosen." Most will choose to follow the carnal world because it seems easier. Others will make the choice to follow truth  i.e. God, Yahweh, The Creator, or whatever name one uses. The enlightened ones understand, on some level, that the spiritual path is the only way to safety, freedom, happiness, and prosperity in this unpredictable world.  The world is extremely deceptive.
