The Truth Will Set You Free
Whenever I mention truth it's not man's truths that I'm referring to. Actually, you can't really call man's carnal beliefs truth at all. Truth does not change with the wind.
Let's call what man calls truth facts. Facts can change and they often do. It's this one day and something else two days later.
The truth that I communicate are in harmony with universal laws, they are immutable, and once you become more spiritually aware, these verities become intuitively graspable.
For example, according to universal law we are not a body, we are a Soul. This truth is eternal. This is God's truth not man's truth. It has always been and always will be. Knowing and understanding this makes one less afraid of illness of the body and death.
However, unenlightened individuals believe that we are the body. They have no comprehension of the soul that inhabits the body. So their belief is not truth.
It's always been the soul that breathes and gives the body life. Once the soul leaves the body and discards it like an old pair of shoes, the body no longer has life. This is an eternal truth.
Another universal truth is that God is spirit. God is not a man, a very, very old man sitting up in the sky on a gold throne with a long beard meting out orders and cursing one person while blessing another.
Their concept of God is elementary and unfortunately, many people never grow out of this faulty image of The Creator. Man's illusions of God is not truth. Man can create facts but truth is. In other words the truth of any given situation is eternally present. Whether it is acknowledged is another story.
There are many fantastic books that explain the nature of God and His universe. But you have to be inspired to understand them. If not the readings will mean no more to you than an ant you passed on the sidewalk.
One such book is God Works Through You by Robert A. Russell. Not only is this a great collaboration of spiritual truths, it's also a wonderful book to refer to from time-and-time for inspiration throughout your journey of self-realization.
Here is an excerpt from the book:
The truth that makes you free is your realization that You are One with God. I and my father are one, and your recognition that your thought is creative. As he (a man - that is you) thinketh in his heart so is he. When you accept the fact that your thought is creative , that the mind which you use is God Mind, you can, by directing your thought, cause the harmony you desire to be objectified in your affairs, your body, and your world.
I recommend tangible books (not Kindle or e-books) as you can underline and mark inspiring quotes to refer to occasionally. It's cumbersome to look for a wi-fi connection or make sure your device has enough battery in order to quickly read something that inspires you.
Sure you can download information but you still have to turn on your device, scroll to find the app or folder, and so on. Having a favorite quote written on a card for example is simple and convenient.
Why is it necessary to gain a consciousness of spiritual truths? Because it is the only way you can be freed from human bondage and limitations. False thinking binds you, but truth liberates you.
Truth Is Knowing, Living, Thinking, And Being
By incorporating truth i.e. God into the center of your being, you gain wisdom and conquer delusion. The world is not so confusing and scary. Therefore your goal should be to subsume truth into your life.
When you triumph over the human mind with all its misdirected thinking, beliefs, and limitations, you become a manifestation of truth. You will see as God sees, and know as God knows. See what? See the perfect creation that God pronounced good. Know what? Know that It has never been and never will be anything less than perfect and that in truth evil has no power over you.
Keep in mind, books can help us along our spiritual journey. They are a steppingstone to spiritual realization. You can digest whatever you're reading without interference and do so at your own pace. You can highlight paragraphs and words that inspire you and refer to them whenever you feel the need to do so. It's a private affair.
Just be sure to read from the best authors and know the difference between someone who truly understands spiritual truths and those who fantasize about spiritual truths and have no true understanding because their ego gets in the way. These types of individuals want you to follow them not truth. So be careful.
When you become more intuitive about God you will recognize those who really know and those who don't. If you are truly sincere, you will intuitively know the difference and won't be led astray.
Many Blessings To You
