Which Is Better Age-Old Healing Methods Or Contemporary Medicine?

Considering what's been happening with global health the past few years, many people are baffled about what is actually going on.

All of a sudden, we as spiritual beings are deemed rabid animals too infectious to love, enjoy, and congregate with one another.

In this blog post, the focus is on the comparison between allopathic medicines and traditional or natural medicines, and how these two approaches to treating dis-ease impact us on a metaphysical level.

However, there's something that you should be aware of. Cures for dis-eases are never derived from allopathic medical applications. In order to cure a dis-ease the root cause of the malady must be addressed.

Allopathic medicines only scratch the surface and might relieve the symptoms, but the same illness could return or come back again in another form because true healing has not taken place.

Modern Medicine and Our Immunity System

In truth we are more than just a body. We are a mind or soul with a body. Therefore, the body and mind must be in balance for good health because they must work together. This is frequently overlooked by individuals practicing allopathic medicine.

In fact, in the early 1800s, homeopathic treatments were the primary medical system used in the United States for some years!

In addition, many modern medicines are highly toxic with moderate to severely debilitating side-effects. For example, statins were touted as the remedy for high cholesterol.

Unfortunately, statins have been found to carry a variety of side-effects such as liver damage, memory loss, muscle related issues and more.

Did you know that 25% of the cholesterol in your body is located in your brain? Furthermore, research has linked the use of cholesterol-lowering drugs to various forms of mental degenerative diseases. I recommend reading the article The Link Between Statins, Memory Loss, and Dementia for more in-depth information.

Cholesterol is just one example of a natural condition that has been hijacked by modern medicine primarily for profit. To learn more about the potential side effects of statins click HERE

There are a variety of God given "natural" remedies for high-cholesterol such as red yeast rice, psyllium, fenugreek, and fish oil. However, utilizing these methods requires discipline and patience. Unfortunately, most individuals prefer a quick-fix even if it doesn't "fix" their condition.

Before the introduction of allopathic medicines, natural remedies were commonly used to great effect.

According to research:

Natural medicine is humanity's oldest form of healing, with roots dating back to the Paleolithic era. For millennia, global healthcare relied entirely on nature-based remedies until the 19th and early 20th centuries, when modern allopathic (conventional) medicine based on synthetic drugs and germ theory gained widespread prominence.

The seemingly endless flow of dis-eases designed to scare individuals in order to keep the pockets of the pharmaceutical companies full are endless.

This insightful video Why Natural Medicine Was Replaced (The Truth You Were Never Told) will help you better understand the evolution from natural to allopathic medicines.

Metaphysically speaking, many individuals do not have control over their thoughts and emotions. They then create dis-ease for themselves and rely primarily on worldly methods to cure what ails them, which often exacerbate the issue.

Hence the reason why they are never cured. Symptoms are merely masked by petroleum-based allopathic medicines, attempting to mimic the functions of our innate immune system given to us by God.

The Body's Lifeforce - Placebos - and the Will

The placebo effect is identified as:

a phenomenon where a patient's physical or mental health improves after receiving an inert substance or sham treatment (like a sugar pill or fake injection). This response occurs because the person expects or believes they will get better, triggering the brain to release natural healing chemicals like endorphins.

This is why the placebo effect is a phenomena and that even scientist must reluctantly admit that healing is a mind thing and that in truth the mind is the actual healer.

This is also why a treatment, whether allopathic or organic, might help one person and not another. It's the belief in that treatment and its outcome that determines its success.

In a sense, all medicines and treatments can be viewed as placebos.

Nonetheless, the reason why natural treatments are better is that there's less chance of critical side-effects including death that allopathic medicines have been known to cause.

What's more, natural treatments are more compatible with the natural immune system that God gave us.

Still allopathic medicines do have their place. For instance, if you have a very deep wound you may need the assistance of an allopathist to stop the bleeding and stitch up the wound.

However, after the wound has been closed a ligature made of specific herbs would be highly beneficial to assist with healing.

Keep in mind that man does not do the actual healing. It's the lifeforce in the body that heals the body and mind. Treatments simply stimulate the lifeforce to a particular part of the body.

For instance, how many times has a doctor said "well that's all we can do we'll have to let nature take its course." As the saying goes "God does the healing while man collects the fee."

A severely weak body has a harder time stimulating the lifeforce and may not heal, have a hard time healing, or may not heal at all.

And how do you keep the lifeforce stimulated? By meditation, prayer, and proper diet. Prayer strengthens your faith while meditation evolves and spiritualizes your consciousness thereby increasing the body's resistance to illnesses.

Diet is important as many dis-eases develop due to improper eating such as eating too much junk food, meat, and processed foods.

Another important factor for successful healing is the power of the will. In fact, the will plays a crucial role in every aspect of our lives. For instance, you may desire to follow a diet, but lack the will to eat healthily and exercise regularly.

There have even been people who used their will to postpone  death. We have all likely heard stories or known someone who held on until they could see their children or grandchildren before passing away.

God is sustaining this entire universe through His will.

Is There A Doctor In The House?

In all likelihood, most people at one time or another will require the assistance of a doctor. So, why not search for a doctor who provides homeopathic therapeutics as well?

Homeopathic doctors usually have a metaphysical understanding of the causes of your illness and will provide treatment from that standpoint.

They not only help to heal your body they also help to heal your mind...which is primarily where dis-eases originate.

Is it worth going to an allopathic doctor for a physical ailment? It ultimately depends on the doctor's sensitivity and approach.

Do they truly listen to your concerns and make an effort to address them? Do they become hostile if you decline a recommended treatment?

Alternatively, you may consider finding a doctor who practices both homeopathic and allopathic medicine.

Various studies have shown that:

"Medical errors cause an estimated 2.6 million+ deaths globally each year. Errors include misdiagnosis, medication blunders, infections, and inadequate aftercare. One-in-ten patients are injured in healthcare settings with over 50% of these injuries deemed avoidable." The exact numbers may vary depending on the study.

According to the article Patient Safety - Are We Doing Enough?

"Despite the beneficial impact of modern medicine in alleviating illness, hospitals being unsafe for the very purpose of “healing,” as such, is now unraveling. Instead, they are places fraught with the risk of patient harm. Major areas of concern are hospital-associated infections (HAI), unsafe surgeries, unsafe injections, safe births, medication safety, blood safety, and faulty medical devices."

Seeing that most individuals go to allopathic doctors, it would make sense that the majority of medical errors are derived from this group.

Today, with the abundance of information readily available, there is no excuse for not being well-informed. It may surprise you to know that many doctors are not aware of newer and more effective therapies and medical procedures.

As a patient, it is your responsibility to educate yourself about any recommended treatments, whether they are allopathic or homeopathic.

By being informed, you will be better equipped to ask pertinent questions and have a meaningful discussion with your doctor about the various treatment options, or whether any treatment is necessary at all.

Traumatic injuries such as a broken limb, excessive bleeding, head injury etc., may require the quick application of specialized medical equipment provided by an allopathic doctor,

However, there are homeopathic doctors who also treat these types of injuries. Still, they may not perform surgery or manage emergency life threatening situations on the spot like in an emergency room.

Even so, there are homeopathic doctors that provide these types of services as well.

Just make sure to do your research and make sure you feel comfortable with whichever type of doctor you choose.

Healing, Ancient Traditions, and Modern Medicine

I recently came across an article titled Ancient Healing vs Modern Medicine and found it to be interesting, inspiring, and accurate. The article presents a truthful comparison between traditional healing methods and modern medicine

I highly recommend taking the time to read the full article by clicking on the gold link in the title.

Here is an excerpt from the article:

"The belief that modern medicine has achieved great success in overcoming historical diseases that prior to the advent of modern medicine plagued and killed humanity is drilled into anyone who grew up in a western country with a western education.

Older traditional systems of dealing with health and sickness are thought to be antiquated and inferior, which includes bodies of health information that have been around for many thousands of years in non-western countries, such as “Traditional Chinese Medicine” (TCM) or “Ayurveda” practices in South Asia, mainly in India."

I wholeheartedly agree with this. We have been conditioned to reject natural remedies, dismissing them as ineffective and primarily associated with quacks!

Nonetheless, our Creator designed our bodies to beautifully balance with what nature provides as evidenced by the effectiveness of natural remedies in treating various ailments.

The article also mentions that:

"Western medicine based on pharmaceutical products, of course, has only been around for a couple of hundred years, taking roots in America in the later half of the 1800s and early 1900s.

How in the world did the human race survive so long without pharmaceutical products? If we were to take the western-based statements that they claim for themselves regarding “science” and “medicine” at face value, we have to conclude that human beings should have become extinct on this planet thousands of years ago!"

Unfortunately, in today's world, most doctors are not taught  about ancient healing methods. These methods are often dismissed as hearsay but the real reason is that most natural remedies can easily be found in one's own backyard, providing no financial benefit to institutions that promote allopathic medicines.

For instance, Dandelion is well-known for its ability to aid digestion while Yarrow has traditionally been used as a topical treatment for minor skin irritations and can be easily found in the wild.

There has also been a rise in the use of medical marijuana. This herb has been known to successfully treat chronic pain, anxiety, and sleep problems. In fact, many people prefer medical marijuana instead of prescription opioids as it has less addictive risks.

If you are interested in learning more about herbal remedies the blog post Homegrown Herbal Remedies is a valuable resource.

WARNING: Do not be fooled. Some natural remedies are extremely potent and may cause serious harm if not administered properly.

For example, natural herbs like Ginkgo biloba can increase the risk of internal bleeding even though this is rare. You're especially at risk if you already take any allopathic medications like blood  thinners.

Yet, a natural plant like chamomile is considered safe to drink as a tea several times a day for most healthy adults.

Click HERE to watch a video about natural garden ingredients that were once banned due to their high potency. However, these same concoctions can now be utilized today under the proper supervision of a homeopathic practitioner.

Another section of the amazing article Ancient Healing vs Modern Medicine is titled: Traditional Healing Systems Have been Primarily Energy-based Dealing with Spiritual Issues in Addition to Physical Issues

"The oldest healing systems in the world today historically have been systems based on energy or spiritual forces. This would include TCM and Ayurveda, systems used for thousands of years in the two most populous areas of earth, China and India.

The physical components of our bodies are a very small percentage of who we are. We are primarily beings of energy and spirit, and pretty much all older healing systems acknowledged this fact.

Looking only at the physical components of our body for healing is a recent phenomenon, starting with the switch to Darwinian evolutionary biology in the 1800s."

God has given us an amazing immune system where nothing is too great to heal. This magnificent system is powered by a  lifeforce when linked to the Higher Power within us is invincible.
