Which Is Better Age-Old Healing Methods Or Contemporary Medicine?

Considering what has happened globally in the past five plus years as far as health is concerned, you're probably baffled by what is actually going on.

All of a sudden, we as spiritual beings are deemed rabid animals who can no longer love, enjoy, and congregate with one another. We're simply products of chance and the only way out of the dilemma is to follow the ways of man for healing and freedom.

Sure, in some ways, man's allopathic medicines have helped. I'm not denying that. Nevertheless, cures are never derived from these types of medical applications. In order to cure a dis-ease the root cause of the malady must be addressed.

Allopathic medicines only scratch the surface and may relieve a person's symptoms, but the same illness might return or come back in another form.

Modern Medicine and Our Immunity

The body and mind must be in balance for good health. This is frequently overlooked by individuals practicing allopathic medicine. You see, metaphysically speaking we are more than just a body.

Additionally, many modern medicines are highly toxic with moderate to severely debilitating side-effects. For example, statins were touted as the remedy for high cholesterol. Unfortunately, statins have been found to carry a variety of side-effects such as liver damage, memory loss, muscle related issues and more.

Did you know that 25% of your body’s cholesterol is in your brain and that many forms of mental degenerative diseases have been linked to cholesterol lowering drugs? The Link Between Statins, Memory Loss, and Dementia is a good article to read on this subject.

Cholesterol is just one example of a natural condition hijacked by modern medicine. Read more about the side-effects of statins HERE

There are a variety of God given "natural" remedies for high-cholesterol like red yeast rice, psyllium, fenugreek, and fish oil for example. But using these methods requires discipline and most individuals prefer a quick-fix even if it doesn't "fix" their condition.

Of course, before the introduction of allopathic medicines, natural remedies were frequently used to great effect. Nonetheless, the seemingly endless flow of dis-eases designed to scare individuals keeps them running to the doctor on a daily basis!

And because so many individuals have no control over their thoughts and emotions, they create dis-ease for themselves. Then they rely primarily on worldly methods to fight what ails them. Which in many cases, ends up making things worse.

Hence the reason they are never "cured." Symptoms are only covered-up by medicines that try to imitate the work of our God given immune system.

Placebos and the Body's Lifeforce

What's also important is the will of the individual being treated. In this sense, all medicines are placebos. One medicine might work on one person but not on another. Whether using allopathic or natural cures, healing depends on a person's genuine faith in the outcome and how much the lifeforce in the body is stimulated.

Keep in mind that man does not heal anything...only the lifeforce in the body can heal. Medicines simply stimulate the lifeforce in a particular area of the body. As the saying goes "God does the healing while man collects the fee."

A severely weakened body means that the lifeforce within that body is weak and will not heal no matter what medicines, whether allopathic or natural, are given. And how do you keep the lifeforce stimulated? By meditation and prayer. True prayer enforces your faith while meditation evolves and spiritualizes your consciousness.

Is There A Doctor In The House?

Most people will probably require the assistance of a doctor at one time or another. So, why not try and find one that provides homeopathic therapeutics as well? Such a doctor may have an understanding of the metaphysical causes of your illness and provide treatment from that standpoint. They not only help to heal your body they also help to heal your mind...which is mainly where the dis-ease originated.

Should you not go to an allopathic doctor if you have a physical ailment? I say it depends on your doctor's sensitivities. Do they listen to your concerns? Do they do their best to answer your questions? Do they become hostile if you refuse a treatment that they recommend?

In fact, it has been verified that:

Medical errors cause an estimated 2.6 million+ deaths globally each year. Errors include misdiagnosis, medication blunders, infections, and inadequate aftercare. One-in-ten patients are injured in healthcare settings with over 50% of these injuries deemed avoidable.

"Despite the beneficial impact of modern medicine in alleviating illness, hospitals being unsafe for the very purpose of “healing,” as such, is now unraveling. Instead, they are places fraught with the risk of patient harm. Major areas of concern are hospital-associated infections (HAI), unsafe surgeries, unsafe injections, safe births, medication safety, blood safety, and faulty medical devices."

Seeing that most individuals prefer allopathic doctors, it would make sense that the majority of medical errors are derived from allopathic doctors.

Therefore, if your doctor (whether allopathic or homeopathic) recommends a specific treatment, it's your duty to find out more information about the medicine or procedure being suggested. These days there's no excuse not to be informed when there's so much information available.

By being informed, you are prepared to ask relevant questions and make better choices about what steps you prefer to take when it comes to treatment.

For traumatic injuries such as a broken limb, excessive bleeding, head injury etc., you may favor the quick application of various medical equipment to monitor the injury provided by an allopathic doctor,

However, there are homeopathic doctors who also treat these types of injuries. Still, they may not perform surgery or manage emergency life threatening situations on the spot like in an emergency room, but  you may find a homeopathic doctor that practices allopathic procedures as well as provide emergency room services.

Do your homework and make sure you feel comfortable with whichever type of doctor you choose.

Healing, Ancient Traditions, and Modern Medicine

I came upon the article Ancient Healing vs Modern Medicine and found it interesting, inspiring, and truthful. I highly recommend taking the time to read the original content via the gold linked title.

Here is an excerpt from the article:

"The belief that modern medicine has achieved great success in overcoming historical diseases that prior to the advent of modern medicine plagued and killed humanity is drilled into anyone who grew up in a western country with a western education.

Older traditional systems of dealing with health and sickness are thought to be antiquated and inferior, which includes bodies of health information that have been around for many thousands of years in non-western countries, such as “Traditional Chinese Medicine” (TCM) or “Ayurveda” practices in South Asia, mainly in India."

I wholeheartedly agree with this. We've been trained to forego any natural remedies as they are deemed ineffectual and primarily used by quacks! Nonetheless, our bodies are designed by our Creator to balance beautifully with what nature provides.

Additionally the article states that:

"Western medicine based on pharmaceutical products, of course, has only been around for a couple of hundred years, taking roots in America in the later half of the 1800s and early 1900s.

How in the world did the human race survive so long without pharmaceutical products? If we were to take the western-based statements that they claim for themselves regarding “science” and “medicine” at face value, we have to conclude that human beings should have become extinct on this planet thousands of years ago!"

Unfortunately in today's world, most doctors are not taught about the methods of ancient healing as they are deemed fruitless, non-beneficial, and won't bring in the money as much as allopathic medicines do.

WARNING: Don't be fooled, natural remedies such as certain herbs are potent and can cause serious damage if not administered properly. Click HERE to watch a video about natural garden ingredients that were banned due to their potency. However, these same concoctions can be utilized today under proper supervision.

Another section of the amazing article Ancient Healing vs Modern Medicine is titled: Traditional Healing Systems Have been Primarily Energy-based Dealing with Spiritual Issues in Addition to Physical Issues

"The oldest healing systems in the world today historically have been systems based on energy or spiritual forces. This would include TCM and Ayurveda, systems used for thousands of years in the two most populous areas of earth, China and India.

The physical components of our bodies are a very small percentage of who we are. We are primarily beings of energy and spirit, and pretty much all older healing systems acknowledged this fact.

Looking only at the physical components of our body for healing is a recent phenomenon, starting with the switch to Darwinian evolutionary biology in the 1800s.

A more recent healing system based primarily on energy is the field of Homeopathy, which was developed by a German physician named Samuel Hanhemann (1744-1843). His teaching came to the United States in the early 1800s, and for some years was the primary medical system used in the United States."

I won't go too deeply into the meaning of this text, however, just suffice it to say that God has given us a miraculous immune system. Nothing is too great for the immune system's lifeforce to heal when consciously connected to the true nature of the Higher Power within us.
