Remain Vigilant

At times the universe forces the masses into high-gear, compelling them to move forward. Those who refuse to adapt are left behind. 

This advancement requires an improvement in intelligence and profound inner reflection. Unfortunately, most are not up for the task. As it is written in Matthew 22:14 "many are called but few are chosen."

Most will choose to follow the carnal world because it seems easier. Others will make the choice to follow truth i.e. God, Yahweh, The Creator, or whatever name one uses. The enlightened ones understand, on some level, that the spiritual path is the only way to safety, freedom, happiness, and prosperity in this unpredictable world. 

The world is extremely deceptive. It promises much but gives little. People consistently find themselves making bad decisions and doing the wrong things, believing that only worldly pursuits and solutions effectuate happiness, health, and prosperity. 

One of the biggest stumbling blocks for many is that they don't learn from their errors believing that things happen by coincidence. In reality, we create our circumstances whether consciously or subconsciously, and the only way out is to free our consciousness from the delusion that worldly solutions leads to fulfillment.   

We often find ourselves lost in a state of confusion, unsure of which direction to take. As a result, we constantly look to external sources for fulfillment, when in reality, the answers can only be found within ourselves. 

This is not to say that we shouldn't have friends, careers, homes, marriages, cars, and other comforts. It's just that by leaving God out of our daily life this world becomes a place of ambiguity and turmoil.

Every decision you make without first consulting wisdom will leave you in a quagmire. It's not easy, therefore, you must remain ever vigilant to maintain that sacred contact. 

If you don't remain vigilant, a tumultuous situation may arise and you will be so afraid and hopeless that you will forget about God altogether. If you maintain a deep spiritual contact with The Creator, you're not thrown off by whatever is thrown at you. 

Pray and Be Patient

When people say "I prayed and didn't get an answer" it's not true. You always receive an answer but many are too worried, afraid, and confused to hear God when He does answer. Or, you may receive an answer but not the answer you expected. 

Remember: God creates his own channels. Many times the right answer is something you wouldn't expect. For example, I recall reading a story about a woman who journeyed on a hot air balloon ride alone. 

She was very experienced in the technique of hot air ballooning and was confident in her skills to manage any possible mishaps. She was enjoying the landscape below her and the beauty of nature when suddenly her balloon began to descend.

She panicked and tried everything she could to steady the balloon but to no avail. She was certain death was near. The last thought that came to her mind was to pray...and pray she did. 

She received an answer immediately and had a gut feeling to adjust a particular part of the balloon's apparatus. She didn't doubt...but did exactly as she was told even though the solution would have never occurred to her in a million years.  She landed safely and was filled with tears of joy. 

The above story illustrates that there's always a solution to any problem and that those who listen to that still small voice within regardless of external circumstances, will conquer their doubts and fears.  

God is all knowing therefore the answer is there before you even call. The answer may come immediately or it may come later. Just be patient, let go, and the answer will come.  

This is the time to test the strength of your spiritual understanding. This is the time to grow closer to The Creator of this universe. This is the time to break free from the world hypnosis and become what you really are a Soul ever joyous, wondrous, prosperous, and free.
