The content of this article is taken from one of my favorite Self-Realization Fellowship magazine issues from 2016. It was written by Bruce Brander. The narrative is so thought-provoking that I could not resist publishing it on my blog. 

The world is not what it seems. Yes, it exists, but your eyes and mind are playing tricks on you. 

Do the words "God Is Better" mean anything to you? Or, let's put it this way, have those words ever crossed your mind? Maybe you've heard the phrase God Is Better before but never really thought much about them...until now. Perhaps perplexing global events cause you to pause and contemplate whether there is something better. Well, there is something better... God Is Better and there's no getting around it. With so much confusion and destruction in the world people are simply becoming unhinged.  They don't know what to do or where to turn. All the other favored go-to solutions are failing. As a result, individuals are struggling to cope with the perplexities of everyday life. However, t here is one way of relief from it all and that's by turning to God.  Unfortunately, God is the last place many individuals seek for solace. The world has always been a mess and it will continue to be a mess long after we're gone. Don't get me wrong, the world is beautiful, amazing, and miraculous. However, these realities only blossom when we can perceive this wonderful planet of ours through the eyes of spiritual maturity and understanding. If not, the world will scare and depress you and will make no sense at all. From its conception, the  "material" world has been filled with turmoil. Yet, when you view the world through "seeing eyes" the misery, death, and destruction take on a different meaning. Of course, it does ...

So many people are extremely concerned about the comings-and-goings taking place around the world today, so I wrote a post titled Don't Worry...The World Has Always Been A Mess Part 1 . Well, I decided to write a part-two to that post. This second part is written to reaffirm that "the world is still a mess, has always been a mess, and will continue to be a mess in the future." The only way out of the maze is through raising your consciousness .  First of all, it may appear that everything taking place (both good and bad) is new and has never happened before. The word apocalypse has it origins in Ancient Greek  apokálypsis (ἀποκάλυψις) and essentially means a lifting of the veil . Others describe the term as a catastrophic event giving rise to immense destruction and change.

At times the universe forces the masses into high-gear, compelling them to move forward. Those who refuse to adapt are left behind.
