You Are More Than Just A Body

The human body is an intricate mechanism build around a complex system that is wired to function in the most trying conditions.  I have watched videos online of people whose bodies have been unimaginably mutilated, yet they manage to thrive with an undying spirit that gives them a purpose for living.

All the same, in most instances, people still think of themselves as just a body and nothing else. There is a widespread belief that once a person is declared dead, their life ends there. This belief is held as true because the physical body is all one sees on this earthly plane but there's much more beyond this material world.

The soul simply discards its physical body as it would an old coat and assumes the form of an ethereal body that requires no need of the physical senses such as taste, sight, and hearing in order to function. However, this new body is also transient as the soul must progress into the higher realms. Even returning to the material world if necessary in order to complete its corporeal journey and ultimately put an end to the cycle of life and death on earth.

Take for example the recent virus outbreak. The desire to quell the virus had scientists and theorists alike proposing a variety of methods in order to boost the body's immune system. We are ‘spiritual beings with a body,’ and that body encompasses a miraculous immune system of its own.

Many are aware of this; hence, they may perform various necessary procedures, and may activate the healing process, but they do not do the actual healing. As the saying goes "God does the healing while man collects the fee."

The immune system is activated and depending on how well a person has taken care of their bodily instrument, will determine whether it is restored to full health.

In most instances, physicians do not understand that we are more than just physical bodies. We are not meant to be constantly poked, prodded, injected with vaccines and other substances, sewn back together, and adorned with numerous cosmetic surgical procedures in order to survive.

Indeed, the body experiences changes, and medical attention may be required. Yet, it's amazing how many people take better care of their cars than their bodies. When their automobile needs gas, they fill it up right away. If it needs oil, they give it oil.. If it needs a tune-up, they give it a tune up. While at the same time ignoring their body and treating it like dumpster or disposable trash bag.

The point is that you can always get a new car, but you can't always get a new body. As the saying goes: the body is a good friend but a treacherous enemy. When something goes wrong with it, it's hard to do anything else.

Nonetheless, if we have the understanding that we are more than physical beings, we are less likely to fall victim to worldly delusions of fear and dis-ease, which results in a greater chance of healing despite the malady.

We are capable, as souls roaming this earth, of escaping the lunacy of the world-mind. We are capable of reaching the heights of joy that no unpleasant worldly event can shatter and where nothing can make us feel hopeless. It is maya that keeps us in delusion.

I say: awaken to your divinity and no longer let the limitations of the body make you believe that you are merely a physical being. You are eternal light. You are a Soul that is a manifestation of the Creator. Life becomes wondrous and beautiful when you connect with your true inner essence.

Have you ever thought about the power behind the complexity of the body? Who or what decided that we should have two arms rather than three? What about the brain and the trillions of nerves throughout this bundle of flesh and bones? How can anyone doubt that the body was designed by an intelligent being?

If there was no intelligence involved in the creation of the universe, horses would give birth to crocodiles, and people would be born with birdlike wings. Everything would be random. Gravity would suspend without warning. Imagine that!

There would be no structure whatsoever in the universe. Why doesn’t the Earth collide with the Sun, and what keeps everything in place and functioning?

Even though we are given free will, Maya deceives us. Because of this deception, we have reduced ourselves to a duplicitous being who must. eventually face what the world calls death. However, we are a Soul with a body, and the Soul can never die.

However, some materialist thinkers—scientists, for example—suspect that we were purposefully created by an eternal mind or being. Nonetheless, they have never been able, and will never be able, to place that being in a test tube to investigate its origins.

Why? Because everything is God, and every molecule, atom, subatomic particle, ion, and compound is part of God’s body. What academics are examining is God in His most fundamental form. God is the Alpha and the Omega.

What humanity eventually discovers is that the universe is infinite and that we will never arrive at a finite material explanation of our existence or why we exist. This can only be understood through soul awareness.

Read the scientific explanation of the bodily system below, and then think about how complex the body is and whether you believe that the universe was created by design or by the Big Bang, as some academics have claimed.

Scientific explanation of the bodily system taken from the site Livesciene.com:

The job of the circulatory system is to move blood, nutrients, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and hormones, around the body. It consists of the heart, blood, blood vessels, arteries and veins.

The digestive system consists of a series of connected organs that together, allow the body to break down and absorb food, and remove waste. It includes the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum, and anus. The liver and pancreas also play a role in the digestive system because they produce digestive juices.

The endocrine system consists of eight major glands that secrete hormones into the blood. These hormones, in turn, travel to different tissues and regulate various bodily functions, such as metabolism, growth and sexual function.

The immune system is the body's defense against bacteria, viruses and other pathogens that may be harmful. It includes lymph nodes, the spleen, bone marrow, lymphocytes (including B-cells and T-cells), the thymus and leukocytes, which are white blood cells.

The lymphatic system includes lymph nodes, lymph ducts and lymph vessels, and also plays a role in the body's defenses. Its main job is to make is to make and move lymph, a clear fluid that contains white blood cells, which help the body fight infection. The lymphatic system also removes excess lymph fluid from bodily tissues, and returns it to the blood.

The nervous system controls both voluntary action (like conscious movement) and involuntary actions (like breathing), and sends signals to different parts of the body. The central nervous system includes the brain and spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system consists of nerves that connect every other part of the body to the central nervous system.

The body's muscular system consists of about 650 muscles that aid in movement, blood flow and other bodily functions. There are three types of muscle: skeletal muscle which is connected to bone and helps with voluntary movement, smooth muscle which is found inside organs and helps to move substances through organs, and cardiac muscle which is found in the heart and helps pump blood.

The reproductive system allows humans to reproduce. The male reproductive system includes the penis and the testes, which produce sperm. The female reproductive system consists of the vagina, the uterus and the ovaries, which produce eggs. During conception, a sperm cell fuses with an egg cell, which creates a fertilized egg that implants and grows in the uterus.

Our bodies are supported by the skeletal system, which consists of 206 bones that are connected by tendons, ligaments and cartilage. The skeleton not only helps us move, but it's also involved in the production of blood cells and the storage of calcium. The teeth are also part of the skeletal system, but they aren't considered bones.

The respiratory system allows us to take in vital oxygen and expel carbon dioxide in a process we call breathing. It consists mainly of the trachea, the diaphragm and the lungs.

The urinary system helps eliminate a waste product called urea from the body, which is produced when certain foods are broken down. The whole system includes two kidneys, two ureters, the bladder, two sphincter muscles and the urethra. Urine produced by the kidneys travels down the ureters to the bladder, and exits the body through the urethra.

The skin or integumentary system, is the body's largest organ. It protects us from the outside world, and is our first defense against bacteria, viruses and other pathogens. Our skin also helps regulate body temperature and eliminate waste through perspiration. In addition to skin, the integumentary system includes hair and nails.

Now that you have read my introduction and the information about the body’s complex system, have you thought more deeply about what might be the energy behind the body’s intricate system?

The urinary system eliminates waste from the body. The human muscular system consists of approximately 650 muscles. What force enables these complex organisms to function? Who is the magician wielding the magic wand?

Now, don’t tell me that the body has a life of its own, because if it did, then when the Soul leaves the body, all you would need to do is give the body food, oxygen, or medicine, and it would come back to life. If a person is in a coma and wakes up, or if a person has no heartbeat and seems to “come back to life,” it is because the soul has not completely left the body. So what is the power, the engine, the source that gives our body life?

Think about it....!!!
