Considering what's been happening with global health the past few years, many people are baffled about what is actually going on.  All of a sudden, we as spiritual beings  are deemed rabid animals too infectious to love, enjoy, and congregate with one another.  In this blog post, the focus is on the comparison between allopathic medicines and traditional or natural medicines, and how these two approaches to treating dis-ease impact us on a metaphysical level. However, there's something that you should be aware of.  Cures for dis-eases are never derived from allopathic medical applications. In order to cure a dis-ease the root cause of the malady must be addressed.  Allopathic medicines only scratch the surface and might relieve the symptoms, but the same illness could return or come back again in another form because true healing has not taken place.  Modern Medicine and Our Immunity System  In truth w e are more than just a body. We are a mind or...

Man's laws and universal (God's) laws are not comparable when it comes to truth and justice. So, what is universal law?  Universal law is inherent in God's creation and designed to maintain a balance of both the spiritual and physical world.  Every soul has the right to utilize universal law to maintain protection and order while wandering through this world of uncertainty.  Example: If there were no laws to govern the galaxy, the sun would collide with the moon. Similarly, without laws, elephants would give birth to zebras and humans would be born as adults instead of babies.  Universal laws are immutable and apply to everything in our sphere of existence and beyond. However, for the purpose of this discussion, I will focus on the domain of Earth. Universal laws also govern our character. For instance, forgiveness is a law unto itself because when we forgive we relieve ourselves of anger and hurt. It doesn't necessarily let the other person off the hook but i...

Scientific prayer can be better understood through a metaphysical examination, as seen from the perspective of a spiritual scientist.  You may be wondering what exactly a spiritual scientist is and how one becomes qualified. Is it necessary to complete 4 to 12 years of secular schooling to be recognized as a spiritual scientist? A spiritual scientist employs similar methods as a material scientist, although with some slight differences. While a material scientist must substantiate their discoveries with physical evidence, a spiritual scientist works on the unseen but sees through intuitional perception. The material scientist verifies their findings solely through what they can observe with their physical eyes. However, the spiritual scientist delves deeper, exploring the realm beyond the physical, which is why the term metaphysics, meaning "beyond physics," is used. The metaphysician surpasses the five-senses reaching into the realm of the 4th dimension and beyond. Through i...

There's a little spot at the center of your brain known in physiological scientific terms as the pineal gland . Nevertheless, spiritual scientists use other terms like Spiritual Eye, the Third Eye, and The Center of Intuition.  As attested by the great sages from ancient times, the pineal gland has more than a physical function. It is the gateway to enlightenment and higher states of consciousness.  What Is the Pineal Gland? According to the website Mindbliss: "The pineal gland, also known as the pineal body, is a small pine cone shaped gland that lies deep inside the center of the brain in the epithalamus. It is a part of the endocrine system and helps to regulate melatonin, which is a chemical produced in the brain that helps the body sleep at night. The pineal gland function lies in governing the production of hormones as well as the maintenance of the circadian rhythm, which is essentially our sleep/wake cycle." The Biological Purpose of the Pineal Gland  Thes...

If you are not familiar with the movie Sister Act I highly recommend checking it out. Even if you are familiar with the film, my metaphysical analysis may offer a new perspective.  On the face of it, Sister Act is a well-produced comedy that has become a classic and can be enjoyed for years to come.  The film first aired in May 1992. That's over three decades ago and in my view, it's still as refreshing as ever.  The plot of the movie centers around Deloris Van Cartier, a secular singer who witnesses her mob boss boyfriend commit a murder. Fearing that Deloris will testify against him, the boyfriend sets out to have her eliminated. Under the witness protection program Deloris hides in a nunnery (this is where the action begins) until it's time for her to testify.  In order to keep the singer occupied, the Mother Superior at the convent offers Deloris an undercover job as a choir director at the nunnery. Seeing that Deloris already had singing skills, the offer fit in...
