The Game of Life and How to Play It is a metaphysical classic. Ms.Shinn uses everyday situations to emphasis how

metaphysics and spiritual concepts enhance your life. Believe me, you won't want to put this book down.

Your Word is Your Wand: A Sequel to the Game of Life and How to Play It By Florence Scovel Shinn

Word Your Wand.jpg

If you read my review for Ms.Shinn's other book "The Game of Life and How to Play It" her sequel "Your Word Is Your Wand" is just as riveting. This sequel hones in on the power of our words and how we can use them for goodwill or impediments in our life. Definitely worth taking note!

Autobiograhy Yogi.jpg

I initially purchased Autobiography of a Yogi in paperback. After reading, underlining, and highlighting points in the book that inspired me, I purchased the hardcover edition. In my view, Autobiography of a Yogi is a treasure. It's not for everyone as it is advanced spiritually; however, it is written for the common individual in simple language. In fact, anyone picking up this book to read simply out of curiosity will be inspired. The content is witty and intelligently written. If you are searching for answers to the mysteries of our existence, you will find that this book will satisfy your curiosity.

The World's Delusional Illusion

May 11, 2019

The world is not what it seems. Yes, it exist, but your eyes and mind are fooling you. Take a look at the illusions from (brightside.me) below. The image of the bicycle wheels turning is an illusion. They're not really turning. The image of the flower shaped design? Another illusion. There is no illumination in the center. These illustrations are not gif images.

I will now reveal to you and hopefully help you better understand how and why this world is a delusional-illusion.

The quote from Albert Einstein: “Reality is merely an illusion, although a very persistent one” is a nail-on-the-head adage that perfectly sums up the gist of this article. It’s difficult to escape the delusional-illusion of the world, but escape you must and it’s not impossible. First, I want to make clear the reason why I use the words delusion and illusion. The two words are not interchangeable. The two are completely antithetical. Simply put illusion is external and focused more on the physical while delusion is internal and focuses more on the mental aspect. The tricky part is the world we view is both delusional and illusionary. What we view physically is no more real than the thoughts we conjure up about what we see. In order to spare myself the awkwardness of trying to use scientific jargon in its proper context, I am using commentary from various well-written articles with links to the original text. I will add my own comments in black bold.

Getting To The Point

I came across a fantastic article from Consciouslifestylemag. The editorial beautifully describes the phenomenon of the physical world and how we perceive it. I’ve taken bits-and-pieces of the article (you can read the full article via the link): “Early in the 20th century the unquestioned assumption that the physical universe is actually physical lead to a scientific search for the elementary “point particle” upon which all life is built, which would prove that reality was not an illusion. But as soon as scientists began smashing electrons and other particles in enormous accelerators, they quickly realized the foundations of the physical world weren’t physical at all—that everything is energy.”

ME: That “energy” is the body of God, so to speak (or whichever term you prefer to use for example: The Infinite One, It, The Almighty, etc). Keep in mind, God is spirit; indestructible and omnipresent. Though science won’t use the term God as such, the spiritual-scientist does. Energy cannot be created. Humans cannot create God though it’s possible to utilize what God has already created. “Reality is stranger than we think. It’s stranger than most people can think. And the reality is that everything is energy and energy is everything. Scientists have been dealing with the shocking implications of quantum theory for 100 years now. But as far as mainstream society is concerned, scientists’ stupefying conclusions about life may as well not exist.

“Reality is stranger than we might think. It’s stranger than most people can think. And the reality is that everything is energy and energy is everything. Scientists have been dealing with the shocking implications of quantum theory for 100 years now. But as far as mainstream society is concerned, scientists’ stupefying conclusions about life may as well not exist. But what is real? How do we define it? As physical beings—oops—as apparently physical beings of course we would define reality in physical terms. But given the inescapable scientific proof we have now gathered that everything is energy at the most fundamental levels, it seems this world (and everybody in it) isn’t physical at all.”

ME: OK, so here’s the scoop. After all is said-and-done, the world is a mirage like you would see in the desert, an optical illusion. When you dream you react to your dreams as if they were real. Well, this physical world is another dream. In your spiritual quest, you must “wake-up” (as you do when you wake up from sleeping) from the dream of this physical world as well.

In another great piece I discovered from Collective-Evolution, the concept of the universe’s anatomical structure was explained this way. Read the full article via the link:

“At the turn of the ninetieth century, physicists started to explore the relationship between energy and the structure of matter. In doing so, the belief that a physical, Newtonian material universe that was at the very heart of scientific knowing was dropped, and the realization that matter is nothing but an illusion replaced it. Scientists began to recognize that everything in the Universe is made out of energy. Quantum physicists discovered that physical atoms are made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating, each one radiating its own unique energy signature. Therefore, if we really want to observe ourselves and find out what we are, we are really beings of energy and vibration, radiating our own unique energy signature -this is fact and is what quantum physics has shown us time and time again. We are much more than what we perceive ourselves to be."

If you observed the composition of an atom with a microscope, you would see a small, invisible tornado like vortex, with a number of infinitely small energy vortices called quarks and photons. These are what make up the structure of the atom. As you focused in closer and closer on the structure of the atom, you would see nothing, you would observe a physical void. The atom has no physical structure, we have no physical structure, physical things really don’t have any physical structure! Atoms are made out of invisible energy, not tangible matter.

“Our experience tells us that our reality is made up of physical material things, and that our world is an independently existing objective one. Again, what quantum mechanics reveals is that there is no true “physicality” in the universe, that atoms are made of focused vorticies of energy-miniature tornadoes that are constantly popping into and out of existence. The revelation that the universe is not an assembly of physical parts, suggested by Newtonian physics, and instead comes from a holistic entanglement of immaterial energy waves stems from the work of Albert Einstein, Max Planck, and Werner Heisenberg, among others."

Despite the findings of quantum physics many scientists today still cling to the prevailing matter-oriented world view, for no good reason at all. As mentioned earlier, these scientists restrict quantum theory’s validity to the subatomic world. If we know that matter isn’t physical, how can we further our scientific discovery by treating it as physical? Fortunately, many scientists have already taken the leap, and have already questioned the meaning and implications of what we’ve discovered with quantum physics. One of these potential revelations is that “the observer creates the reality.”

ME: This world is very much like a dream except it’s harder to wake up from it. What breathes and lives is the Soul within the body. Once the body disintegrates, the Soul leaves this plane of existence and moves on to the next one. Yes, after death our consciousness survives but that’s for another blog post.

"A fundamental conclusion of the new physics also acknowledges that the observer creates the reality. As observers, we are personally involved with the creation of our own reality. Physicists are being forced to admit that the universe is a “mental” construction. Pioneering physicist Sir James Jeans wrote: “The stream of knowledge is heading toward a non-mechanical reality; the universe starts to look more like a great thought than like a great machine. Mind no longer appears to be an accidental intruder into the realm of matter, we ought rather hail it as the creator and governor of the realm of matter. (R. C. Henry, “The Mental Universe”) The possible influence of human consciousness on the behavior of physical or biological systems has been subject to rigorous research and documentation for a number of years by several researches. Many of the experiments that use the role of human consciousness and how it affects our physical material world have been done so under the Department of Defense and military agencies, thus remaining classified -hidden science kept from the eyes of the mainstream public world.”

ME: Our world is our consciousness. Think about it. Your consciousness is where you make all your decisions. Your consciousness is where you taste your food. Yes I know, it seems like it’s the tongue that tastes food but it’s not. It’s the mind that tastes food. That’s why when something goes wrong with the parietal lobe part of the brain, your sense of taste, smell, sight, touch, and hearing becomes disoriented or may leave altogether. The body is simply an instrument of the mind and the mind is an instrument of the Soul.

Conclusion

I’ve tried to keep this article as simple as possible without going into too many systematic explanations. However, I hope you have a better understanding of the unreal “reality” of the world we live in. The material scientist will continue with their studies and research, which is a good thing. They will continue to search for the answers to our existence in a world that doesn’t really exist. In modern lingo “we’re being played.” However, they will never come to finality. As God is infinite and so is the universe. Something the “spiritual-scientist” already knows.
